Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

I love to see him again. I also went to the KROCK Radio Cluas-Fest last week. I saw teh one with PUDDLE OF MUDD, STAIND, P.O. D and THE Offspring. I have no plans for any upcoming shows. Too expensive now. I am waiting for U2 next year. WORLD TOUR Starts late Spring. YEAH.
I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Straylight = amazing again ... michelle had a new upbeat song .. otherwise nothing new... Coheed and Cambria a little bit of a dissapointment, they didn't sound to great live and played alot of new stuff while i was there, but my friends wanted to leave, cause they said that coheed couldn't beat straylight

I don't understand the big deal about Straylight anyway.
I mean, honestly, they make nice music. I can't deny that. But beyond that, what do they have? The only reason anyone gives a flying fuck about them is they have a guy from Taking Back Sunday, one of the worst bands from this whole emo craze. And just because they have the TBS guy, they automatically get lead billing on a tour with a guy who is established and has more albums out than Straylight Run has songs (I am talking about Matt Pryor from The Get Up Kids/The New Amsterdams).
Someone please explain to me the logic behind this. Thanks.

I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

they co-headlined the tour switching who was in the last spot. Straylight run has amazing lyrics the reveal about what goes on between band members when a band begins to break big. They are nothing like any of the other emo-core music that is around right now. And John is an awesome dude.

No, in order to say they rotated who headlined means that Matt had to headline a show or two, which he said he wasn't going to. So no, there was no "co-headlining" or "rotation" in who played last for the night. Each night it was a band that has existed for three months, or less, that headlined, and it's bothersome. One guy from a crappy band gives you instant emo credibility or something, I dunno.

I saw Good Charlotte last night and was pleasantly surprised having not really enjoyed the last show of theirs I went to. The singalongs that sounded like a junior school choir were still freaky, but the songs were good (as ever) and I even got to hear a couple I hadn't heard before (Emotionless and I Heard You) and Joel and Benji were having fun and Benji made Joel start singing a Smiths song which confused the kiddies and made me laugh
Some of the kids were so young though - it was kind of scary.
And they were filming it for a DVD - yay

Holy crap, I am sooooooo very excited for that. When does the new cd come out!? U2...that was my first real concert.
it is rumoured to come out in March of next year. I think I read it was going to be called SOLARIS or something like that. Then again it could change.
what is really funny to me is OLP are suppose to release their new CD in March also. They released their DVD same time as U2. I find that really funny.
