Jeremy ont he Dean Blundel Show

I got into my car at 9:45 this morning and when I was driving down Bathurst St. I heard the morning show on the Edge ending. I knew Dean and the gang was on vacation and it was replaced by three people whos voices rang at the back of my head. That was until I heard the Brother say this is it for the Brother and Jeremy Taggart...

Now I don't know if he will be on tomorrow or the day after but I got pretty exited when I heard the news and I was upset that I hadn't tuned in earlier. Anyone else hear the curly-haired drummer this morning?

Yep, I head him from 8-8:30. He did the traffic, it was funny. George from MuchMusic was also there and he said "We'll be here all week." Hopefully that includes Jer too.

heh, i heard jer doing the traffic too. he was saying that the 410 southbound was slow and i was just about to get on it and i yelled "damn you jeremy" in the car. it was funny.

heh, if i didn't have class, i was going to go down to the edge and bring the coffee.

and jer was talking about the new album. i think he said something about it being energetic and how bob rock challenges them. or something like that. they said something about playing a new song, but i'm not sure if they played it or not.

They mentioned Metallica and what Bob Rock did to them and Jer was kind of like 'he's not going to do that to us' then he spoke about them just wanting someone to challenge them thing that someone already mentioned.

I should have taken notes - maybe I will tomorrow. Here's what else I can remember:
The traffic news was great - there was this jazz music on in the background and Jer put on a funny voice - it was very hard not to laugh out loud in my office.
He'd actually flown in from Maui especially to do the show.
There was some stuff to do with hockey players (I think), but since I didn't recognise the names it didn't make much sense to me.
Someone, I think it was George mentioned how he'd heard a 20 second clip of a new OLP song and how he knew it would be a hit. Then they were talking about getting permission to play it on the show, so maybe if we're lucky we'll get to hear something.

Did Jeremy give the name of the song? Any more info regarding this would be excellent. Is he on all week? I am hoping someone can get a copy of it if they play it.........that would be ****** awesome. Any other album info we can extract from jeremy somehow would also be cool........yes, even electrocution as torture would suffice.

Raine can run and he can hide.......but we'll get to him too.....he and that little dog of his.....muhahaha AH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

(I've been watching "24".....this show rubs off on you in the "do anything to get it done" kind of way. (This and Family Guy are the best shows around)

Guys, don't worry if you missed this morning, or any other day this week. Me and Nam are both recording the stream all week (both of us, in case one of our streams kicks out and we miss part... that way the other person won't, and we can combine our rips). :nod:

It'll be on the hub as soon as I can get my computer virus-free (heh) and edit. :thumbs:
