ill have to agree with alan...modest mouse is quite boring. You tend to think your music is always superior and really have no defense in this arguement.

Buckshot is my bread, and I'll drink whiskey instead of water cause I can't stand to be sober in this place. Your hands on my face every step of the way trying to peel away the pain.

I heart Muder By Death
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Dude. Can you people not understand? I like the same bands as you. I've never insulted the music you like, because i like the same shit. Either no one has read any of my posts or everyone has their heads up their ass. I'm sorry if you think modest mouse is boring. That's you insulting something I like, not vice versa. get over yourself.[/i]

Hey, I like Fall Out Boy you cunt. Would you like me to quote what you said about them? I surely can, if you really want me to.

Bah, I meant Funeral For A Friend. I was talking to someone else about Fall Out Boy, my bad. But yeah, you're still a cunt. Go ahead and check that thread out. Go ahead, do it.

I wanted to go see Fall Out Boy with Less Than Jake, but was too lazy to go get tickets. I went to a concert on Halloween that had bands like fordirelifesake, alexisonfire, Before I Go, Alucard, and others. 'Twas good, but I had to leave early because I had a band competition the next day.

I'm going to regret getting into this at all...but you Reyna didn't say any bands suck in particular, just that Modest Mouse was *better* than all of those.

I have no plans for future concerts, I think they've lost they're appeal! What's wrong with me!?

I went to see The Thrills on Monday and they were really good in spite of all their songs sounding pretty much the same :) They played a new two day old song for us which was pretty cool. And Bob Geldof was there in the VIp section not looking very interested - I don't think I saw him clap once!

Then last night I went to see Bob Dylan play in a big room full of old men! I only really went to keep my brother company. The music was well played, but it was kind of odd, he just sat there playing his keyboard the whole time and didn't say a word to the audience between songs (not even a thankyou) until just before the last song when he introduced all the people in his band. He finished with All Along the Watchtower which was nice :D

Radiohead tomorrow
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

The Thrills are cool. I saw them in September. They played a new song then too, hope it's not the same one and that they're just saying it's new every night :) But yeah, all their songs sound alike anyways, so it doesn't really matter :P

brand new concert last night was sweet.. for many reason first up until monday i did not have tickets until brand new's manager helped my out and got me into the concert for free by putting me on the band's guest list, which also got me a backstage pass. Straylight Run played first which kinda sucked cause they were the main reason i was their, but they played about six songs and kicked ass. then after that i went and talked to straylight for a while, Will remembered me from last week and we talked then i went back out to watch the rest of the show cause i didn't want to seem annoying. saw the last part of eisley they were okay, jess came on to sing a song with them and the place went crazy, which kinda scared me cause it felt like more like a GC show than brand new for a second. Then came Hot Rod Circuit, these guys rock live, they put on a great show and their gutairist is awesome. Brand new followed played an awesome set, its amazing how popular they have gotten lately. I was kinda dissappointed that John nolan didn't come out to sing with them at any point, but jess does sing a part of mistakes we knew we were making in 70 times 7. Overall great show, and even better when i consider the fact it was free

I need to know one thing. Did Hot Rod Circuit play "Cool For One Night" for me?

nope. i dont think so

i could be wrong cause i didnt recognize most of their set, but it doesnt sound familiar.

anyway... it was a good show and i agree with just about everything you said joel. brand new is way too "popular", straylight was awesome (also the main reason i wanted to go). Hot Rod's guitarist was insane.
i like eisley a lot though they didn't really fit it.

Yeah, I said the concert was better, and I was kidding around. As a matter of fact, I rambled on in here continuously about how I wanted to go the the New Amsterdams and couldn't.

If I say a band sucks, who cares? Do you really care my opinion? I certainly don't care about yours. So move on with your life.

 that would be funny :)

Radiohead were excellent last night. My only complaint (other than the morons sitting near me) was that they didn't play Karma Police which they'd played the night below. Still, we got Creep and loads of other great stuff and I got to see Thom dance like a crazy man so I was very happy :D
