Well, the concert was great. The people were horrible.
They played This Is Getting Over You for me, which made my lifetime. Here's what Matt said: "We're going to play an old song now, it's called This Is Getting Over You. This is for you." He looked at me and smiled when he said that. He also humped his guitar at my face during a few solos. I love this guy. He's so much fun it's insane. They played mostly newer stuff though. I did get to hear Keep Em Coming, Maybe I'll Catch Fire, This Is Getting Over You, Queen Of Pain, and Bloodied Up, so I was giddy. I, however, passed out from the lack of oxygen and the cracking of ribs right before the encore. I missed Blue In The Face, which really fucking pissed me off. I was supposed to go to the hospital, but Mr. Alan here doesn't have insurance, so I just went into a bar where Matt was and talked to him. He's the nicest man ever.
And apparently I was thrown on someone's shoulder and carried out to an emergency medical room somewhere by the State Theater. Fun shit.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
