Mike Turner and Harem Scarem/Rubber?

Post by StarCrash »

I read the exciting news over at emtee.org about Mike Turner guesting on Harry Hess's first solo CD. I've never heard of Harry or the bands Harem Scarem and Rubber. Can anybody tell me more about them? Were they any good? It would be cool if anybody knows how many tracks Mike contributes guitar parts too. I'm looking forward to hearing the songs.

From what i've been able to gather.

Rubber is a side project of two of the guys from Harem Scarem.

Rubber worked with Arnold Lanni also.

I haven't heard any music from Harem Scarem.

I have heard two songs from Rubber, and even though that isn't nearly enough to make a sound judgement, i wasn't impressed at all.

They sounded a lot like the band Nine Days (the guys who sang story of a girl...). They sound like a top 40 pop-rock band.

From what i've heard and read Harem Scarem was more of a metalish act....

Hope that helps a bit.

So it's possible that the CD was recorded with Arn then?

Thanks for the info :)
