I find myself quoting Zedd a lot when I play QuakeIII online

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

the Crypt of the Capuchin Monks. Rome, Italy. it's in the basement of a church. there are thousands of skeletons of Capuchin monks arranged as art in six different rooms. there are some dried up corpses sprinkled throughout, as well. it was one of the neatest and creepiest museums I've ever visited.

my friends have a habit of taking walks through the cemetery at night, and making a point of trying to drag me up to this mausoleum door that never stays closed and trying to push me inside.

fun.

when I was a kid my mom would let me watch any horror movie I wanted. I was terrorized by zombie nightmares for years. I swore I would NEVER live near a cemetary. then when I graduated from high school my parents moved to their current house, which is a very short walk from a cemetary. I lived with them for awhile during college. I used to take acid and go hang out all night in the cemetary. I'd lay on top of a grave and watch the stars. a few times, when it was foggy, I stripped naked and ran around.

I don't do that stuff anymore, but I still love cemetaries. :freak:
