It's absolute trash. I really hope it doesn't represent how the rest of the album will sound.

i think Kid A is my favourite radiohead album too. although i havent heard ALL of Amnesiac and Pablo Honey.

Pablo is shit, but do yourself a favour and complete Amnesiac. Sure, it doesn't have relatively good flow, but it has a handful of Radiohead's best songs.

The conclusion of the thread ...

Clearly "Vidrar Vel Til Loftarasa" by Sigur Ros is the most heartbreakingly beautiful song ever.

I went in line right at the end and ended up with terrible seats. But a lady who worked there traded my tickets for 6th row centre just before the show started, so that was awesome.
My main problem was with that bitch who was grabbing Raine's stomach while he was singing in the stands. As if he ...

Well when I got into Modest Mouse I was HUGE into MGB and OLP, like he is.
Anyway, Issac Brock is one of the best lyricists out there (as demonstrated in "3rd Planet"). Their music can be challenging at times, but it is ever so fucking engaging. So, if you like music beyond bread rock you must ...

Clearly Radiohead is the best band going right now.

I know I have no credibility on this board, but please download "3rd Planet" by Modest Mouse if you are unfamiliar with them. That song alone started a chain reaction that led me to buy four of their albums. Their best album is The Moon ...

these bands would make my list

radiohead
pavement
the flaming lips
had wilco and modest mouse released "yankee hotel foxtrot" and "the moon and antarctica" in the 90s, they'd be way up there
aeroplane over the sea was probably the third best album of the nineties
loveless was pretty fucking good ...

Well if you're talking major effect on copy-cats than surely Nirvana and Pearl Jam must be mentioned. Eventhough I don't particularly love either.
I just go by quality and quantity of output when comparing bands. Radiohead have the defining 90s record and one other excellent one. Pavement may be ...
