Batman Begins

Post by PeaceEleven »

Your thoughts on Batman Begin?

Image

directed by : Christopher Nolan

Christian Bale .... Bruce Wayne/Batman
Michael Caine .... Alfred Pennyworth
Liam Neeson .... Ducard
Morgan Freeman .... Lucius Fox
Gary Oldman .... Lt. James Gordon
Ken Watanabe .... Ra's Al Ghul
Katie Holmes .... Rachel Dawes
Cillian Murphy .... Dr. Jonathan Crane/The Scarecrow
Tom Wilkinson .... Carmine Falcone
Rutger Hauer .... Richard Earle
Sara Stewart .... Martha Wayne
Richard Brake .... Joe Chill
Gus Lewis .... Young Bruce Wayne
Emma Lockhart .... Young Rachel Dawes
Linus Roache .... Dr. Thomas Wayne

Rugter Hauer was cool in Blind Fury. Nolan is quite a great director. I think this movie sounds awesome so far. Anyway beating the thir and fourth one isn't hard at all....The picture is convincing !!!! Sadly I heard that the batmobile isn't as great though.

I think it's awesome that he's making this as if the other Batman movies were never made.

And that he's using some of the lesser known features from the comics (like the new bat vehicle - I forget what it was originally called, but it's like a massive fucking bat-tank. always awesome in the comics when you've got this huge tank full of equiptment with a barrel pointing at a single bad guy.)

My only qualm is that he appears to have kept the rubber costume, which is stupid. Batman should be able to turn his head separately from his shoulders, dammit!

Yeah just no.....I do not see him as Alfred at all either. For the costume, I heard that he was able to move way more then any actors have been to in the other films.

That's good, at least. It was always so stupid, especially when he was in the Batmobile looking at the monitor, he'd have to move his whole body to talk to Alfred.

Yeah , I just hope that it's not the same thing all over again. Also, the more the actor can move , the most cool thing he can do, we just have to hope eh was able to move a lot. It's gonna look way better if that is the case.

I saw the teaser trailer a while ago. I've also seen the production shots with the new car. It's fucking huge!

I don't like the look of the new batmobile/tank...

However, I saw a new preview at the premiere of Ocean's 12 last night and it made Batman Begins look WAY better than the other trailers I've seen.

Liam Neeson is going to be a really KICK ASS character too! It was a good preview indeed.

im looking forward to it too, it looks like it's gonna be a film-noire type deal, i think that shooting it like that will really add to the story and make it look a lot cooler.
