I know there's gotta be a few people here who watch wrestling.

Last Night's RAW:

Y2J vs. Edge and the Main event of Benoit kicking Evolution's ass were the only good matches

The RAW Bimbo search is a waste of time, and WTF!? Who the hell came up with 'diva dodgeball'?

The Kane/Matt Hardy/Lita storyline is messed up and I can't wait for it to be over. They've totally destroyed Lita and Kane's characters. The only one who hasn't suffered too much is Matt, but he's gotta get knee surgery so he'll probably be out after summerslam anyway.

Is anyone planning on getting SS on PPV? I know I'm not. I swear, if they take the title off Benoit and give it to Orton, I'm not watching RAW until that little bastard loses the title. SummerSlam is looking mediocre at best.

Does anyone watch TNA? I've only seen one or two matches but I'd really like to start watching it. AJ Styles is awesome and they've also got the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal Sabu. Plus Jeff Hardy, The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, Raven, Amazing Red...

Man, most TNA wrestlers have more talent in their pinky fingers than what the entire WWE roster has.

So yeah. Discuss wrestling.

i used to like kurt angle back when i watched a little wrestling.

we used to get together for the paperviews and laugh and the announcers. it was sweet.

oh, and wrestling went way downhill as soon as Mankind leftl

2. Yes, the WWE is going downhill and the hill's getting steeper
3. I hate Triple H
4. The WWE need another attitude era and good writers, because the storylines now suck.
5. Randy Orton sucks

It's like watching a movie, only it's live (in RAW's case), there's more fighting, and the acting's horrible (in most cases)

Most of the time you laugh at it unless it's a really awesome match, like any match Benoit is in, and TLC/Ladder matches with one or both of the Hardy Boys in them

Kane needs to get his mask back because right now he's just some tall, bald freak. Mask Kane is actually intimidating.

I gotta agree with nikki on this. Fake wrestling sucks ass, but if you're actually participating in REAL wrestling like freestyle of greco roman it kicks ass

Fake wrestling, if it's two no-talent bralwers, sucks.
Hell, if it's even one no-talent brawler and the talented guy has to carry the match, it still sucks.

BUT, high-flyers like Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman, Paul London, etc. are awesome.

And good technical wrestlers like Benoit and Angle are awesome too.

And probably the most talented wrestler today is AJ Styles. He is, like they say, just phenomenal. His stuff is amazing. You gotta check out his highlight video on the nwatna.com site

..You know, the purpose of this thread was for the people who actually like wrestling to have a discussion about it, not to debate the awesomeness/suckiness or real/fakeness of wrestling.
