Ok, i woudl just like to ask a few questions. I saw a political comedian make a good point last week (can't remeber name). She said at this point voting for Bush is just a pride thing. No one could possibly look at all the facts and fuck ups this adminstration has had and still vote for them other then out of spite and pride. Most the people voting for him, in my opinion are just to proud to jump ship now, even if they know he's wrong. Also they're pissed about it and are usre as hell not letting the democrats back in so all there co-workers can say i told you so. Of course the other percent is terrifying, could it possibly be that people are just ignorant to happenings in the nation and world? I hope not, i hope that all the people that beleieve Saddam was linked to 9/11 are to busy trying to find their remote to get down to vote for Bush.
But that was just my opinion and is not intened to offend anyone, what i want is some reasoning behind your votes other then what i think, oh and if it's because your parents are republican, i suggest you seriously think of some more reasons.

Both of my parents are republican. I am probably because they taught me their values and we talk alot about politics. BUT, that doesn't mean that I would just blindly vote for Bush. If I thought Kerry was better, I would vote for him. Or some other person. But since there isn't anyone, then I am voting for Bush.

Bush has guts. I think he's made alot of mistakes. I think that alot of things in Iraq should be different. But, when we got knocked on our asses he didn't just sit around. Everyone applauded him for his desire to make sure this never happened again. But then he actually did something, and what do you know, the democrats are bashing him for it. I think he's basically a good person, which is more than I can say of our past democratic politicians. A good person will at least try to do what's right.
And yes, I do know that you have had opinions before last week, that's not what I said. But I take each democrat differently, you guys just lump us into "those misguided souls", and it pisses me off.

Bush has had several dealings with the Bin Laden family and he knew DAMN WELL what they were doing. ANd don't DARE say he has guts, he dodged Nam while the "gutless" Kerry went and fought. Then he had the guts to stand up for what he believed in after, he fought to stop a war that he didn't believe in, a war he took part in. George was AWOL. Spain dealt with a similar tragdey recently and they handeled it much better.

My cousin just came back from Iraq. She said that the children ran after there convoys asking for food and water. Which then ended up giving them. She said they have almost every hospital open and running correctly. They now have ground wire phones in most of their homes and the schools have started teaching the kids again. SO... If the middle eastern kids are growing up to hate Americans, then they must not like staying healthy, eating, getting an education and talking on the phone. If you don't believe me, you can talk to my cousin. She'd be glad to show you pictures and tell you what actually happened in Iraq.
