I might be camping for a while.

Post by hpdfk »

Hi everyone,

As of late I have been visiting the CM a lot. While I have fun and enjoy your company, my parents don't. They believe I spend to much time here and that it is affecting my study habits. As a result, I may be blocked from here in the near future. If not, I will be here very rarely to improve my grades. You won't see me over the summer either, because I will be camping in the remote wilderness practically nonstop. I'm sorry it had to come to this. This is not what I wanted and I should have been more considerate of my work to prevent it. I'll miss you guys very much and appreciate knowing you all. Hopefully I'll be back posting next year.

I will miss you all

Shit-smelling hole???

Reminds Neil of the entire area of Indiana.........well, the area that I had to travel THROUGH to get from NY/MN, and back, etc.

Indiana smells like a huge load of "shart"

gonna miss ya.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

Hi all! Found out my dad's password, so I'll be on for like two seconds.
I'm sure I'll be on for a few days after finals. After that I'll be heading on a 21 camping trip in the remote wilderness of southern Ontario. Woohoo! Then and week trip in wisconsin. Finally, a two week trip in the Bahamas. Not cruise ship style, but tall-ship-fishing-for-food-and cleaning-latrines style. This is going to be a great summer!
^^^I'm well aware of Kamloops' shittiness. If there ever was a ghetto in Canada that would certainly be it. The story of my brush with Kamloops involves a girl I met over winter break.
^^Ever been to Gary? That's the biggest shart hole of them all. It's nothing but a gigantic smoke stack.

Well that's all for now. I appreciate everyone's response. I will miss you!

PS: The studyin' is great. Hopefully I'll be up before you know it.
