Names( how popular is yours)

Post by Tattooed Angels »

Want to know how popular you name is. Here is alink that will tell you.

I don't know if I should be upset or happy. Gail isn't in the top 1000 for the last 14 years. Hell even when I was younger I didn't know anyone by that name. Now I love my name.

It wouldn't go back to when I was born, but in 1990 it was 239. Not too shabby. I used to be unique but lately it seems like everywhere I go I am bombarded with Cassie's.

There was a thread on this a long time ago.

My name was the very last name on the list. Out of every name in the entire universe.

My name is ridiculously popular. In fact at least twice a week someone will sing a song to me with the name Sarah in it.
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Its not so much as a western thing as there is a folk song that goes "Sarah, Sarah, will you come out tonight?"

...and yeah. I get that a lot.

mine used to be in the 280s, bt now it's in the 180s; guess my name is getting more popular!
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

If Lando happens to be short for Orlando then your name is super hott.

And Yeah. I can think of like three more songs with Sarah in it.
It blows. Its like a band trying to come up with a female name automatically goes with Sarah without concidering my feelings.
