There's a new video?

I assume you're talking about Gary Jules here? Or did Tears for Fears make a new video for this? Or is it something else all together?

Oh, so they re-re-did it.

I'm assuming this is for the summer re-release of the movie?

R.E.M. didn't do the cover for Donnie Darko. I don't think they EVER covered Mad World.

I heard a cover of it today by Evergreen Terrace, and it was chill in its own MOSH INDUCING way, but I like the song better when it can make me cry on a bad day.

Gary Jules' version is amazing. I was so disappointed when I went on his site and listened to more of his music.

it's the video where he looks over a group of kids who make formations and stuff, it's so cute. like, they run around and place themselves so they look like different things, like a boat, or a house. way cute video.

i wonder why this whole donnie darko thing is exploding now. i hear that song on the radio all the time and i'm like, didn't this come out a couple years ago?

Yeah, it bugs me that the song is only getting popular NOW. Since it's so insanely popular now I will inevitably hear it 3 times a day and I'll be sick of it by the end of the month. And I saw Donnie Darko for the first time August 2002. I've loved that song for quite some time now.

indie subculture is popular and that is the biggest movie that has a following. Boondock Saints is another one. I think its dumb the song is getting popular since tears for fears released it quite some time ago.

I personally don't like the remake of Mad World. Then again this is one of my favorite TFF songs. I still remember the video. They use to play Mad World and Pale Shelter alot on MTV back in the early 80's.

If I remember corectly the TFF video had them walking through Gardens with alot of Japanese people and they did a dance to the guitar part. We use to imitate that dance all the times in the clubs. Oh Memories.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again
