yes.

it's going to rock balls.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

They decided to part with Mark Trombino during the recording of the new album. They brought in Gil Norton and will probably have it out sometime this summer. Hope it's good.

I heard a couple of the songs from the new cd (live bootlegs) but they all sounded really good i'm exicted to hear the final product. They are mixing right now.

I don't know how many of those live songs will make it onto the album. That show was awhile ago, when Trombino was still producing. Just from experience, I know if a band hires a new producer during the recording of an album, chances are a lot of the songs they thought were going to be on the album get tossed, and the rest get reworked a bit. *shrugs*

The show is barely 2 months old so there has to be a good chance most of the songs are still around considering they are mixing.

jimmy eat world is a very good band very good

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

they have some solid stuff, but for some reason the seem to simple and kiddy for me.
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

Meh, they covered (read: butchered) a Guided By Voices song.

They took "Game Of Pricks" and threw it on some anti-some bullshit album.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
