Hot Hot Heat

Post by InUnison »

Ok, I am not a huge fan of punk but when Bandages hit the air I liked the song, when No Not Now hit the Air I went and bought hte CD and never looked back. I love it. I went to the TO show and they put on a great set. Anyone else share this strange affinity for this band?

I love these guys, but they're not punk. They're more synth pop, if anything. Definitely not punk though. Very solid band, I have their latest two cds, and I love them.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Yeah, there is something incredibly catchy about Make Up The Breakdown. I mean it's not like super amazing or anything, but it's good.

But you liked them live? I was so excited to see them, but when I did they played a really short set and didn't really have the energy I expected...it was kinda dissapointing.
don't look now, just keep watching the TV hating what's too see waiting for someone to say something that's right.

i need to find my sanctuary ..... someplace safe ... gotta get this outta me ..... this is my escape

Yeah, the 2 opener bands I wasnt too fond of but I liked Hot Hot Heats energy and I loved it when they pulled half the audience up on stage with them when they played You Cant Always Get What You Want. They had a feeling that they were close to the audience and I liked that...

But that is pretty cool that its your warmup song... The Cd is the only thing that my boss lets me play at work... no OLP there, aparrently its not energetic enough the Hot Hot Heat has 'the stuff'
