Meglomaniac (New Incubus)

Post by I AM ME »

Wow, i can't stop listening to this song, it ROCKS! Everyone should get it
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

The new album sounds nothing like Morning View, trust me, I've heard the whole album last week, Megalomaniac is the best song though, but some of the others are pretty sweet too.

(the Muse song is Megalomania, last song on Origin of Symmetry)

How did you hear the new album?

Morning View was awesome, that's how I became an Incubus fan. I'm sorry, but MV's is musically MUCH better than Gravity. I love it.

Although Make Yourself kicks it's ass...what I've heard so far is nothing really like any of them...maybe more like Make Yourself.

I love Megalomaniac (or however it's spelled).

Brandon and Mike did a promo-tour in Europe and you could win tickets to be at an advance hearing of the new album, and afterwards they answered some questions.

I like Morning View too, but prefer their older stuff, and this new album has a little bit of everything blended together, it doesn't sound really like anything they've done before, but still has the same kind of sound. Lots of changes in tempo, strong bass lines and more solo's. Apparantly they're also recording a 22 minute jam, for which they'll also make an expiremental video to be put on a dvd.

That's what I like about Incubus. Nothing is ever the same with them. You could possible expect a flat line from them after Morning View. No siree!

S.C.I.E.N.C.E owns all Incubus cds and it is sad they strayed away from their unique sound. I heard a new incubus song on the radio it was generic crap not sure what the name of the songs was.

I still feel that their sound is unique.....the only way I could've liked the S.C.I.E.N.C.E. album is if I was stoned, and alcohol is much better so I prefer the latter.

The new album will blow MV away.......and I liked most of MV. Make Yourself is still my fav album though.

Speaking of which, I need a new copy because mines got scratches galore on it. :wtf:
