JOHN MAYER

Post by tasha »

anyone here a fan of his?? and, more importantly, does anyone have an actual mp3 of 'bigger than my body'?! i can't find one anywhere (without paying that is)
you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

<p>And in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping. The moon tells me a secret. My confidant. As full and bright as I am, this light is not my own. A million light reflections pass over me. It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.

Wow, for some reason when I saw this thread, my thumb started pointing downwards. I wonder why.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I enjoy john mayers music, it's quite relaxing. I've only got room for squares, but after hearing the I+I on muchmoremusic I'm thinking of investing in the new one.

Yeah, he might not be as bad if he actually, well, knew how to sing and write good songs. His voice is so irritating it's amazing. Yet these people get major recording contracts. Yeah.

Umm, every song that he's released is God-awful, so you might want to be a tad bit more specific.

"Why Georgia" is actually a pretty good song. Great songwriting in it, I think. But other than that, I don't like John Mayer.

And I don't understand people's infatuation with him. He sounds like a complete jackass in interviews.

I do have to say that he is really talented. I mean, his songs could be a lot worse, and he is amazing when he plays live. Its just that he has no edge, and his music really isnt to my taste.

He also looks like he's constipated when he sings.
