Where Can I Get One?

Post by sYdeshowFreek »

I was looking at the OLP site and I came across this:
http://www.ourladypeaceuk.com/collectables/omapatch.jpg

It shows the official site address on it. When did they have these? Where can I get one? How can they have a One Man Army site and not still have them?

*sigh* There's no way to get them anymore, unless you win an auction or something that includes one. :(

<-- also wants one really badly

Yeah, they had a deal where if you make a website related to OLP, they would give you a patch. Well, that was over a year ago, and I still am waiting on my patch.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

That was when the street team actually came through on what they said they would. Then the false promises of goods for promoting the hell out of our favorite band came out. I mean, has anyone received their promised prizes from the Gravity tour yet? I remember this being a big problem last year, and I am just curious if anything changed.

yeah, back when DOUG was da man. he came through and even went the extra mile for you as long as you worked hard and did what you said. I worked so hard with him as general of the team, even joined a few more teams he was heading up. I miss Doug. Then they got LT. TBone or whatever and he just blew.

You could get them from pre-ordering happiness i think too.

I have one and I didnt though! heh heh heh...I know someone that works with the band (don't worry, I'm not like Ken Maida. I don't claim to have an "in") and so they got a package for me that had the patch, an autographed photo, a demo... this sorta thing. It was really cool :D

(I'm sorry...I had to glote)

It's fine that you gloated there, we don't mind. Well, I know I don't at least. I am just really pissed that the new street team leader is the anti-Doug and never sent out the prizes or anything. That seems pretty low.

Exellent! And I agree. That isnt cool. If there are loyal fans they should be recognised.

Don't forget, it's Sony that's screwing you over here. Are you really surprised?

Yeah, working hard and getting rewarded when you're told you are going to be is how is should be. not with this new guy. He doesnt care.

...yeah
but for some odd reason I would like to be able to blame Bob rock. He is the sorce of all OLP evils. Therefore he is the problem. :uh:

Except of course that OLP would be completely broken up without him...

(don't tell me these things! ignorance is bliss!)

Even something like stickers would at least show appriciation...I mean how difficult would that be?

And for the record I dont really have a problem with Bob...I just enjoy making him the target for any criticism. I just can't bring myself to believe that the band has flaws... :P
