OK. Here's two bands that will make you dance. And they're both from Detroit.

Koufax. 80s synth pop just makes you start moving around, not to mention it's great music.

The Dirtbombs. Mick Collins is a fucking legend. I fucking got up on stage and danced with the band, and I am still white. If music can make me dance, then you know it's truly dance music.

Megan. I am telling you these are the two best non-pop bands that can make you dance. Mark my words.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Nice

Things have been so goddamn hectic around here, I haven't been able to buy tickets or, more importantly I suppose, get a straight answer from my mum if I can go or not...

I don't lie about Koufax. They are surpassing Alkaline Trio as my favorite band. Now that's saying something.
