Has anyone here caught this show? (short for Most Extreme Elimination Challenge). It's on Spike TV, the old TNN, and has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen. My sides literally hurt I laugh so much. Basically the show is clips from an old Japanese show, but it is dubbed over. Anyway, if you haven't seen it, watch it, and if you have, what did you think?

I've seen that at my friend's house once or twice. It's quite amusing.

It's pretty funny, but if you watch it too much, the jokes get repetitive, plus some of the contestants just aren't funny, however usually it's great.

No, the best was when that guy tried to do a backflip and landed on his neck. I was surprised he didn't die.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

No, the dubbing is all made up. I just saw an episode the other night and it had the competition where the big boulders are rolling down a hill. Some dude started running down the course away from a boulder and got crushed between two. (hopefully that makes a little bit of sense.) Anyway, it was one of the funniest things I've seen yet on the show.

I only watch Spike TV for the fact that they now show 2 hours of American Gladiators in the afternoon....

I watch that too! What the hell is this World Gladiator garbage they're showing now? I mean, one of the women's names is Nightshade. Her name is the classy title name for a fucking tomato. Tomatos don't exactly strike fear into my heart, to say the least.

I know what cha mean.....they showed them yesterday. Apparently England decided to crank up the whole idea and took winners/runner ups from the American Gladiators Grand championships and then threw in some others to make up their own game.

I think the whole idea was whack......I hate days when they show the International Gladiators but I still can't NOT watch it. Although with classes starting monday I think the only day I'll be able to catch both episodes is on Tuesdays.
