songs that make you want to kick some..you know

Post by laurel »

okey doke. here's what i'm looking for. i'm making a new running cd..and i don't want any wimpy songs. i want songs that get me pumped up, and just make me want to kick ass, so i actually want to keep running. you know the kind - they get the adrenaline going.

so, what i ask from you guys - suggestions. please!

here's a sampling of what i have so far -
chevelle - don't fake this
default - deny and sick and tired
disturbed - down with the sickness
n.e.r.d. - rockstar

sort of a long that line. but i'm open to anything. please please help me out.

Alkaline Trio - Bloodied Up
Alkaline Trio - Trucks And Trains
Alkaline Trio - Radio
Koufax - Social Life (this makes me more frantic and happy than angry)
Anything by Rancid
Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the UK
Alice In Chains - Angry Chair
Alice In Chains - Grind
Alice In Chains - Would?
Radiohead - Paranoid Android

Yeah, this is a good start for songs that make you go crazy.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

<p>And in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping. The moon tells me a secret. My confidant. As full and bright as I am, this light is not my own. A million light reflections pass over me. It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.
