Since I do not have access to a pool or lake for swimming and I do not have AC, These remedies work for me
1. Cold Showers-These work wonders to cool one-self down
2. Icy underwear- Believe it or not, this works.
3. Commando-hell yes
4. Ice Packs-if they're well placed, they work wonders
Those help make the heat a tad more bearable
.....unless of course I am missing something.

#2 and #3 don't exactly work well together. Unless you put #2 on your head.

Dip your balls in a bucket of ice water. That would be funny.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I just go to my room which is located in the basement and is always cold especially if I have my fan on.

it's not healthy to but icepacks on bare skin. You're supposed to put something between the skin and the ice pack, and for no longer than 15 minutes.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
