Duncan's Absence Explained.

Post by egotist »

As it happens, Duncan is taking time off to spend more time with his wife and their new baby.

Expect him back closer to the release of their next record.

Cheers;

yeah for Duncan that is soooooooo cool. I am so happy for two reasons; one cause Duncan has a new child and two because Duncan is not leaving the band.

were you guys actually afraid he was leaving permanently? It seems like some ppl got a lil too worked up over him leaving temporarily.

Anyways yes Congrats Duncan. It's too bad we couldn't all sign a card or something and then send it to him and his family.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

J-Neli wrote:Anyways yes Congrats Duncan. It's too bad we couldn't all sign a card or something and then send it to him and his family.

Yeah, that would be a great idea, but I'm sure none of us have his home address. Also, we'd have to get that card sent to all the CMers and by that time it would probably be like a year later and he'd be all like "You're a little late" :lol:

Anyway, maybe we could do something over the net...I mean we are an internet community after all. I know you can send the band e-mail through their site, but you can't do attachments can you? You see I was thinking someone with some graphical abilities could make some type of little graphic and we could all e-mail it to each other and sign the bottom on the computer...I mean like not physically sign it (obviously) but like in one of those programs where you can "draw" over pictures.

I guess before we start anything like that, we should make sure we have an e-mail address, or some way to get it to them. Perhaps we could upload it somewhere (like maybe the CM?) and just e-mail the band the URL with "Attn Duncan" as the subject. Yeah...that could actually work :nod:

If you have interest in doing something like that (any CMers...that's not directed just at J-Neli since that's who I quoted) post here. We would need to see how many people would want to do it because if it was like 4 it would be kind of pointless...

Also, anyone interested in making a graphic, post here as well.

One more thing...I'm not sure where you people got the information that he had a child, but we would have to be absolutly sure that he did before we do this! That would be really dumb if we sent the card and he took off for a diferent reason :lol:
