This is disgusting. Thoroughly disgusting.

Parents forcibly sending their teens to a private prison to be brainwashed.

Read this.

Better than leaving them on the street.

How is that different than forcing them to go to public school?

So, a teenager has some problems. That's not a crime. These kids are being treated like criminals - and worse, being brainwashed - for basically, just being stupid teenagers. It's disgusting. That parents have the "right" to treat their children this way.

If those parents were parents, it never would have come to that.

But it is different from a private school. I went to one my entire life up until last year, and wow, there is a definite change. For one, you're sheltered from other people. Two, you have an easier access to drugs. Three, you learn different, fucked up things at an accelerrated rate in a private school. Trust me.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

depending on what their "problem" is, it could be a crime. Drugs, theft, and violence are crimes that are common "problems" with teens.

What I meant is that I'm not ready to have kids. I'm going to wait until I'm in a state where I know I can provide for and be there for my kids.

I will lock my kids in the closet. All of them. Closet children.

"But won't your husband disapprove?"

Of course, but he'll be in the closet too. All of my husbands. Closet husbands. I will shove food through a slot. Like a mail slot.....hmmmmm.....

Either that or I will beat them. Every day.

wow, did any of you people promoting the program actually read al of that article? That treatment is just plain sick, infact to the point where it's not on UK soil because in the UK their actions are illeagal. How can, choosing a bad boyfriend, or dressing inapropriate make you deserve this. This whole thing reminds me of a cult/big brother society

theres a difference between parents choosing to punish their children responsibly to help them learn, and sending them to a facility that actually abuses them. thats a crime.

What is considered a reasonable punishment? And what do you do if that doesn't work?
