Bored in the summer?

Post by crazyblue32 »

Bored in the summer? Nothing to do? 8-)

Me too.

So here's my proposal - I think we should think of some really exciting things to do with the long boring two hot months ahead of us. I'll start us off with a few!

Buy markers and a colouring book. Colour in it.
Build a sandcastle.
Carve a pumpkin / gourd.
Make a quilt.
Have a picnic.
Take completely random pictures of completely random things.
Buy a kiddy pool and have a pool party.
Make a piñata and break it.
Mail an anonymous joke-of?the-week, along with a note of what you are doing, and encourage them to do the same thing, to someone on a regular basis.
Buy a frog or a hamster or a goldfish and let it out into nature.
Do a really hard puzzle.
Make ice cream.
Play cards.
Play ?duck-duck-goose?, or a variation.
Look at the clouds.
Plant a tree.
Blow bubbles.
Go fishing.

So there you go.. Don't say boring things like "bike" or.. "chilling with friends".. or "sun tanning".. cause those are all very boring activites and if you say them I'll e-kick ure ass..

Peace out, 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

duck duck GOOSE *runs around manically*

Stuff to do
: write a second installment to a book you have recently read. Make it as funny/bizarre as possible- but losely related to the original. It's so very amusing. *remembers Return Of The Mockingbird*
: set up a fashion company
: take up underwater basket weaving
: eat mountains of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream

I've run out now.

Meh. Maybe I should have put "fashion" company.

Ours was great - trousers with one leg rolled up, socks & sandals, hooded zipped tops zipped half way up with the hood on, brownie dresses....the list goes on. We had a website too

We're such freaks

I promise you, if I get so bored this summer thatI feel like basket weaving, but at the same time, swimming, I will indeed try underwater basket weaving.. and if it's not real.. then I'll create it and make it real and make millions of dollars!

more random things:

Sit on the curb with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars.
Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.
Finish all your sentences with "In accordance with the prophecy."
As often as possible, skip rather than walk.
Ask people what sex they are. Laugh hysterically after they answer.
Specify that your drive-through order is "to go."

i've seen those all in email forwards.

seriously though: if it's a nice day and you have nothing to do, find the nearest gliding centre and go out there and check it out. I predict that you will be very pleasantly surprised
