I'm a little tired of Harry Potter, but I'm still definately getting it, since its one of those things that you cant miss (maybe it'll spark that dying flame again). I hear this ones like 800 or so pages! Cool stuff.

I already reserved my copy too .. it was cheap actually .. and it's not really considered a children's book .. around book 3 she started making it 'darker' to attact more adults .. same with movie 3 .. supposed to be a bit scarier :D There's even a seperate adults version of this book .. same exact book, just different cover.

I love Harry Potter

I agree - they're definitely not just for children. Apparently this new book is 1/3 longer than book 4, which was 734 pages, so we're looking at at least 900 pages, I think.

Mine too  I can't wait to see how the movie turns out for book 3 and 4 .. especially movie 4 since the book is so big. They're already filming the 3rd movie and they're hoping to release it summer 2004 :D

The book is gonna be 768 pages so not too much longer then the 4th book and if you order it through Amazon they guarentee it will arrive on June 21st, the Saturday so that's good .. I just pre-ordered mine at a bookstore and I have to go pick it up on Saturday.

my psychotic sister has read the 4th one probably 10 times.... :freak: ...she used to read the whole thing and then start reading it again right after finishing the last page...she has way too much time on her hands

i loved the first three books, but i kind of fell out of it after that. there was too much hype, i didnt even finish the fourth one.

i probably wont even get around to this one. one of the reasons is because of all the merchandising. its so sad that kids cant just enjoy the book, they have to buy all sorts of useless stuff so they can make money.
