Who's actually supporting this war.

Serious discussion area.

I'm not. America will do what it has to do. Let them go and fight, it's not like I can stop them. All I know is that if there's ever a draft implimented, I am in my car and moving in with my uncle in Toronto.

I'm on the fence about war, but we'll do what is necessary to kill of threats, even if they don't appear to be threats at the moment.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

well saddam would have been a threat, all the bioligical weapons factories we found you can tell Saddam was planning something. Plus he supports terrorism like the Al-Quaeda

And if you do that to avoid being drafted you will be thrown in jail where you belong. You are an American citizen not a Canadian. Moving to Canada doesn't excuse you from doing your duty to the country you live in. If you are that unpatriotic to the US then why not move your ass to Canada now?! Go get your citizenship application papers for Canada and boogie. If you won't stand up and support your country and won't serve it you shouldn't be here!! Make me an arguement why you should be? There are hundreds of others you can goto, and when you get there send us a letter tell us how much better it is that the US. I don't understand how some of you ungrateful children can stay here if you hate it that much. GO! No one is stopping you.

I fully agree, with what you say. And i don't know how so many people can say they don't support the troops. I don't care if your pro or anti-war you should support your troops because they're fighting for the better of the world. Even if some peopl are to dumbfounded to see that.

Why do you think we're listening to the French? We just don't support the war. There's nothing more to it.

Jumping on Alan for not wanting to go to war is not necessary .. I know a lot of people who feel the same way. A close friend of mine said if they ever had the draft in Canada he'd shoot himself in the leg or something .. he has a baby and a wife at home. Not wanting to fight/die for a cause you don't support isn't something to be ashamed of.

I have no problem with that, and I already posted the solution. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Whether you like it or not there are rules and laws to keep peace and to avoid chaos. You can't always get your way like a spoiled child.

You just said that anyone who does that deserves to go to jail...

Thanks Joey. And the draft is unpatriotic. Why the hell should people who have a chance in succeeding in life go off to another country to dodge bullets and kill people he doesn't have problems with? I am not as cold-blooded as you, I can't kill a person, whether he deserves it or not. Oh, and Venom, if you're so goddamn patriotic, why haven't you enlisted for the war yet? I mean, you're so damn special because you're a republican and supporter of Bush, so why don't you sign up for the war and go out there and kill some Arabs? That's what you seem to profess and all. But no, you won't do it though. You know you don't want to fucking die for this reason. You just choose to sit behind your computer screen, find articles insulting Iraquis, and saying how fucking great it is to be American. I hope you feel strong and safe behind your computer screen, but I pray that you get drafted (if the draft is implemented.) When that happens, come onto the board and tell us how much you fucking love the draft then. We'll search the internet and find your name in the list of dead people, then think of how much you loved America for that split second you were still alive after a fucking bullet went through your throat.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

And how about you scorn the thousands of men that were drafted, fought, and died just to give you the opportunity to make that post?

I'm gonna nickname you Doug Jr. I will refer to you as that from now on which is much better than what you call me. Anyway what I SAID was to get the citizenship papers for another country NOW so that it will be finalized by the time a draft would be necessary. That way you WON'T goto jail because you will officially be a citizen of ANOTHER country. I said he would goto jail if he left the country WHEN the draft was implemented!! And you wonder why I get so upset kid! "Ya'll doesn't knows you to reed good."
