Pronounciation of Maida

Post by clumsychild_ »

Hey people.. friends.. OLP freaks.. ITS MY BIRTHDAY.. but thats not the topic of this post!!

How do YOU pronounce Maida?

I say My-ay-dah...but my friend seem's to think it's just Made-a...i'm not quite sure on this one...i remember in Exposed when Duncan asked for the jersey it sounded like "Made-a"...but i swear i've heard My-ay-da before...wow, this is sad...we have to resort to topics about how to pronounce last names of members of the band...OH WELL...anyways...YOUR THOUGHTS?! :)

ive been wondering this for quite some time, but was too lazy to actually ask somebody...:freak:

i always did pronounce it MY-DA, but when i was pronouncing it MY-DA, i realised that its the same vowel sound as his first name, which we all know is pronounced RAYN, so therefor, his last name should be pronounced MAYD, and then an a, and also, if you take off the a, its just maid, which is a word pronounced MAYD, so in conclusion, ive decided it must be MAY-DA, so ive been training myself to say it MAY-DA, and im starting to say MAY-DA istead of MY-DA ... :freak:

i think i just confused myself there. does anybody else think its weird i dedicated so much time to such a useless subject :clumsy:
