I watched the $2 bill concert on MTV2, but that was just because it was filmed at the State Theatre and I've been there a bunch of times and it was just cool to see it on t.v. other than that, not much of a fan.

I'm still waiting for the Rolling Stone review. It's not up on their site yet... which is odd... because they've already reviewed Elephant, and that's not out until next Tuesday. But, then again, Linkin Park's spent some dough on making sure the record wasn't leaked, which probably included holding it away from the press until release... unlike the White Stripes, who don't seem to give a fuck.

And, hey, Elephant got 5 stars. Wow.

they gave them 4.5 stars Ive hear. I dont know if thats true or not. lol I havent seen it,. BUt I have the cd and it is kick ass. I like ti so much better than reanimation adn hybrid theory. they've matured alot. they have a ten peice orchastra and a Japenese pan flute in one of there songs:) I have a show of there stuff live. and you can prolly find it on winMX and kazza. But at walmart its like under 10 bucks so you might as well buy it. :) I'm very impressed with the cd.

everyone's characterized as metal nowadays. in fact, it has always been the case that bands that aren't really metal get put in that catagory anyways. for example, winner of the first ever grammy for best metal album . . . jethro tull.

That was a huge mistake that everyone knew was stupid. Everyone knew that Metallica should have won that one.

Besides, who cares about the Grammys?

About the White Stripes comment. Let me tell you, you need to listen to that cd, it's purely amazing. All of their stuff is really good, and I am glad I downloaded the album the one day it was on that website.

It fully deserved the 5 star rating it received. Jack White is a musical genius and he is one hell of a musician.

And about the leaking onto the internet thing. Why should the White Stripes really care if the album gets leaked? It only costs something like $8000 to record, produce, and master their cd, so if they lose a few sales, they'll live. They make shitloads of money off of their music because of how cheap they are to make and how much work they put into it themselves.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

No one should buy the Linkin Park album, just download it. I liked their music and all, but I think they're just greedy and try milk money out of their fans at every possible turn. Like the remix CD and I could have sworn there was another CD sold with older songs on it. Plus now you can buy they're DVD for an extra $3 with the CD that I'm sure includes AT LEAST 15 minutes of needless extra footage. I think that's stupid.
