Dawson's Creek: The Final Episodes

Post by curtman16 »

As the final 8 episodes unravel, and the season 1 DVD is released, I'm just wondering how I'm going to live without my weekly Katie Holmes fix. Anyone else feeling my pain?¿

This show's still on? Peter Griffin should have killed them when he had the chance...

They need to release a Family Guy DVD or something.

The thing about Family Guy that sucks is... I'm not sure if you all know this, but at the time, Fox had Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, and Family Guy. They needed to get rid of one of their cartoons because they thought they had too many, and they were going to get rid of Futurama because it was the lowest rated one. However, Matt Groening said that if they took off Futurama, he'd take the Simpsons.... This is how Family Guy got cancelled... (NOT FAIR!)

Stupid Fox.
Should have cancelled KING OF THE HILL.
I'm bitter.

but family guy came back afterward. Plus Simpsons rules, futurama WAS okay, King of the Hill Sucks completely, and Family Guy was better than all of em

I heard that Fox Cancelled Family Guy because the show was "too close to the edge" ie. one show involved a JFK pez dispenser, and the head of it got shot off. Theres others too but I do not know what they are.

This made Fox's sponsors unhappy

It got cancelled, like, 3 times, and I always thought that, yeah, it was just too mature.

But it was so fucking funny. Funnier than...dare I say... the Simpsons, sometimes.

Futurama is on Cartoon Network now.

friday nights at 8 on global Jo

I used to watch it a lot... but then the college years came and I lost interest...

heh, the really sad thing is that I'll probably buy the first season DVD.

I absolutely adored that show when I was fourteen and it first came out.

I should never admit that to anyone.
