i don't know if it was another typical my mom has know idea what she's talking about, or if she was serious, but my mom told me french fries are now called freedom fries.

we have hit an all time low.

last i heard france was a country.. with their own set of borders, ideals and set of morals and all that fun shit..
they also have their own opinions on what is right and what is wrong.
regardless of what happened in the past they have the right to express these
if they dont do what the americans THINK is right does that mean that all those ppl who died are gonna turn over in their grave?! wtf .. they made a decision that they believe is right.. but instead of excepting this fact the american ppl and media choose to chastise them and bring up the fact that since they were saved b4 by the americans that they now HAVE to do what the americans say?!

a friend of mine saved my life in the past.. if this friend did or was about to do something really fucking stupid would i just follow suit or would i pretend to not care? no .. of course not.. i would respect her decision but at the same time voice mine about what she was doing.. just because she saved MY life doesnt make me HER bitch ..
the same hold true in this case.. regardless of what happened in the past.. the french are making a stand .. let them.. all the power to them.. if democracy means so much in the states.. then why is it when another democratic nation.. (let alone 3) make a stand on something they are no longer committed to what BUSH wants and therefore chastised publically?

russia saved france, not the usa. france owes their loyalties in world war 2 to russia, who is anti-war.

the americans were involved and american lives were lost.. regardless of who eventually "won" the war .. i will give credit to those countries who lost the lives of young men for the sake of freedom..

but i do agree that russia is also anti-war as is germany and the better part of the other major countries..
if im not correct.. the of the G8 countries.. france, germany, italy, canada and russia are against this war with just the states and britain for it.. so that shows how much support they have from the Group of 8
