I can play "At Your Funeral" on the bass. And I like STD's music. Ummm, I dunno what else to say.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

You can!? Awesome! I don't know what else to say either. Oh, my favourite song is either Nightinggale or Freakish. The video for Freakish was.. interesting. :freak:

My favorite STD song would be either Certain Tragedy or Jukebox Breakdown. Jukebox Breakdown is such a clever song, and the accompanying music just blows you away, doesn't it?

Not really. I can't really stand Certain Tragedy to be honest. :uh: Stay What You Are had way too many poppy annoying melodies. They all sounded the same at first. But they're still an amazing band. I just prefer Thursday & Taking Back Sunday. Why do bands in this style of music always have seasons, months or days of the week mentioned? Odd.

can you really play at your funeral?

i'd be impressed. their bassist is amazing and he definitely didn't slouch in that song.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Wahoo! I love Saves the Day! Last year I was completely obsessed. I listened to Through Being Cool non-stop. Seeing them with Weezer was fantastic although they didn't sound particularly good. I want to see them again!

Yes, I can play that song. Well, I printed out the tabs from like mxtabs.net and I followed them. If they are the right tabs, then yes, I can play the song, but if they're wrong, I can play the impostor of that song.

That song didn't seem too hard to play really. I mean, I've tried to play tougher songs and failed, but that one just kinda came to me. I still can't play "Crawl" for the life of me, and I have been working on it for two days. I usually have songs down within two days.

I learned Sorry About That, Stupid Kid, Radio, and Cooking Wine all within three hours of each other. But I still can't fucking play Crawl.

Last year STD played a private show for my high school because we raised the most food for the food drive (it was a radio sponsored thing). That was an awesome show! They even let a local band from the school open for STD. The only complaint I had was that the floor was sooo slick...I don't know what from...but I must have went down in like 8 pits or so :(
