Whenever OLP knows they're going to play a new song or two, they should record the show themselves through the soundboard and then release the songs on the internet the next day (or week at least). Do you think that would lower album sales if they are songs that are to be used for the next album? I personally don't think so because they won't be the same versions as what will be on the album and the studio versions wil be fully produced. Just my $0.02

NEW OLP

Are you sure they're covers? OLP has put out original songs whose titles were already used by another band. For example, I know that "All For You" was a Sister Hazel song before OLP wrote the song that they call "All For You".

I don't know who they are. I looked that one up. But I did know the other one.

That's very true. Talk Is Cheap doesn't sound like the name of an OLP song but Not Afraid could be a new one...

Yeah, they both seem like fairly common titles, so it could go either way. I hope that at least one of them is an original and that someone leaks it on the net soon

They could be, but Talk Is Cheap just doesn't sound like something OLP would name a song. Or maybe I'm just weird or something. I don't know. Nevermind. :freak:

they're both new songs
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

from the cc:
OLP played 2 new songs in Brussels last night and they have more written to play later in the tour as well! The songs were called 'Talk Is Cheap' (heavier like Whatever and Our Time Is Fading) and 'Not Afraid' (sounded like Naveed era OLP to us).

And they're recording the new album in May and June!!!!!

because the cc had this news several hours ago.

someone who was in attendance at the show said they were both announced as new songs. the band will be playing more new songs as the tour progresses. and they will be recording a new album in may and june.

and i thought the cm was supposed to be the olp elite.

good ol clumsy congress.
