ok im going to do a movie for my imaging class having to do with egotism. it will basically consist of clips of subtopics illustrating human egotism such as a relationship, asserting oneself in class for the sake of asserting oneself, living vicariously through ones child, etc...

i need more subtopics...these dont necessarily have to be what you personally constitute as egotism, just post them all the same

help is appreciated.

that would be the funniest thing ever

i can just see it...5 minutes of just jeff's face...i would probably get an A+ because my teacher would think i have some genious underlying theme

kinda like that one musician who had a professor in college that asked his students to write a composition about their feelings. he turned in the paper blank and got an a. its people like that who make the world go round...or is it money...i havent listened to the cabaret soundtrack in a while

I know someone who handed in a page that empty except for saying 'this is courage' for the topic 'What is courage?' on their provincials.

They ended up with an A!

Stephanie. I have a half-assed idea for your movie. Narcisism has to deal with one's ego, so why don't you just videotape some of the people at your school and turn the tape in. As long as you don't include anyone in your class that would sue you for the tape, I am sure you'd do fine and your teacher will label you as a genius because you captured egotism oh so well. Or you can not include that and probably get a better grade.

I know, I am waiting for it to all come crashing down on us. We're the people that are meant to be down, and now we're like, happy. What is going on? Are our bodies secreting like natural prozac or something? I am scared....

ok i have no idea what a catcholamine is but i lied when i said seratonin is natural prozac. prozac is actually an SSRI (selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor) meaning that its basically a catalyst to make the seratonin recycle more efficiently.

This is the reason I dropped psych. Thank you Stephanie for showing why I can't stand it.

Actually that isn't the reason. I was in a class that was pretty much self help. It told you why being happy is good and being sad is bad, and deadly. Well damnit, I like being sad, and I don't like preachiness (is that a word?), and I left the class.

Yay, we're psych quitters! Do psychologists really help, or do you overpay for some one to talk to when you have Bethany just an IM away?
