Fred was courting them and they were getting attention from other labels so fred tossed together a shitty deal and they told him he could take his deal adn shove it up his bum and signed elsewhere and he called Steve the singer and left him a message that ended up on Napster its funny as hell.

I liked taproot more before their new album came out. in comparison to their old stuff, it's just crap. commercialist rock.

emotional times is one sweet song though. annnd i heart mike the guitar player, although steve's a bit of an a-hole it seems... but overall i give taproot the thumbs-up, because of the goodness of Gift.

i saw them back in 2000. they were pretty good..but not the best..

i knew about them before Welcome came out but didn't really get into them until Stephen was on that Linkin Park remix.. his voice changed a bit. I'm more fond of it now.

Steve I heard is a aweetie. He gave this girl his favorite necklace because she gave him one cos she loved them so much adn he said it was an even trade or something. (He later said to someone he liked his necklace alot lol the nerd..he wore in in the poem video I think)

He also gave another girl one of his bracelets and another chic one of his rings cos they like made him something. Ive heard he's like the reindliest of the group. *shrugs* But thats just from reading their messagebaod a few times,,
