Private Messages

Just a few minutes ago, I tried to send a private message. I clicked on 'submit' and it ended up in my outbox but not in my 'sent items' folder. Was this message sent? If not, how do I send it? Thanks a lot to anyone who can help me!

it goes to the outbox first, then when the person recieves it, it goes into the sent message folder.

Thanks a bunch for letting me know. I just got confused because they use the same terms ('outbox,' 'sent items,' 'inbox,' etc...) in Outlook Express and everything goes straight to the 'sent items' folder unless you're offline. Well, thanks again
