Oh god .. enough with the 'selling out' threads  If you have to ask that question .. that means no, they're not ..

New Found Glory are cool .. the video for 'My Friends Over You' always gets a giggle out of me

I used to love them, then they got too commercial. I am just waiting for them to have their own Disney concert or something.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Green Day and Blink 182 openly admit to being the biggest punk sell out bands in punk history .. it's funny .. I still love both bands .. the term selling out is thrown around way too much

Bands like NFG and Sum 41 and Good Charlotte and making it easy for people to be what they're not. They're making "punk" a trend.

I dislike them for that, and I dislike their music.

yeah they're doing that and i agree, but i still think that there is a discernable difference between the "trendy" punks and the true, hardcore punks, so nfg and good charlotte can just continue jumpin around and having themselves a grand old time for all i care, the true punk culture is still being preserved.

I really feel bad for my brother. He's been in the whole punk thing for a really long fucking time, probably since he was my age, and he's 23 now... Back when he was in high school, he got made fun of and harassed all the time for how he dressed.

Now, it's a trend.

not out all the way, but i know a lot of formerly ghetto kids who converted to the "rock star" or "punk" look. around me anyway tommy hillfiger is a thing of the past, people have moved on to dickies.

Yeah, it's funny that the way you dress classifies you as a loser. Just because I dressed a little differently than everyone at school, I didn't make too many friends. Now the way I dress is the happening thing to do, and it's rather annoying.

The best thing ever is when you're at a concert of a band you don't like is going into the mosh pit and just decimating the kids who think they know how to mosh, or think starting a mosh pit at a New Found Glory concert is the acceptable thing to do.

my friend got a big green bruise over her eye from moshing at some no-talent punk show and she went around school showing it off to everyone.
