see this band live.

if it's the only thing you do before you die, see this band live.

jim adkins is a maniac.

he looked like he was going to cry while playing with the feedback on his guitar.

in-fucking-tense.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I saw them live and I now regret not paying any attention to them.

*sigh* God I wish I had seen them on the Pop Disaster Tour instead of Saves The Day. Ugh.

It was really funny, though... the two bands had just switched, and apparently the lighting guy had forgotten to change the lighting. Cos, "Jimmy Eat World" kept flashing across the stage (you know, those lights that say words? That sounds retarded... you guys know what I mean... right??? :freak:) during Saves The Day's set. I was cracking up. We were all calling them "Jimmy Eats The Day" or "Jimmy Saves The World" or any variation of those.

I saw Jimmy Eat World last Wednesday in Amsterdam. It was fun, but not intense.

I wish I saw JEW live. I decided to skip out though because I was going to go in a big group of people that only knew "Sweetness" and it would have been annoying to be around them. I still regret not going to see the Blink 182, NFG, and Alkaline Trio show, I think it would have been cool to sing along to ALK3, watch NFG, and walk out on Blink.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

JEW is great live. But so is Saves the Day. I wish I could see both of them again.

I really wanted to see the JEW concert. I think it was in September in Royal Oak. I have no friends that like them, though, and didn't think my dad wanted to haul me to another concert.

They call themselves JEW, so don't look at us like anti-semites.

I was just giving ya's a hard time anyways....wasn't being serious. If ya's actually knew me, I tend to be rather sarcastic
