I've been looking at bus times from Toronto to Ottawa and it seems to take about 5 hours. So add on however long it takes to get from Detroit to Toronto (I can't remember, I did the journey once, but it was years ago). If you're driving I expect it will be quicker.

And from Ottawa it's only 2 and a half hours to Montreal :)

Its about 8 hours or so from Windsor. I advise you to go, Ottawa is supposed to be a cool place to experience, plus you get to see OLP. :)

ah. 8 hrs is just a little too far for me. Well, especially since it'll be an arena concert.

GO TO OTTAWA!

I *heart* Ottawa. I was there in May, and it was positively gorgeous. And I don't just love any city in which I get to hang out in a bar with Great Big Sea; Saint John stinks like paper mill and fish. However, Ottawa in February is gonna be a lot different from Ottawa in May...

I figure I should be able to get a single ticket to an arena show for a week or two, so I'll be okay (yay for knowing where OLP would play having been to neither of the venues).

I'm going to drive, which means Boston-Manchester-Burlington-Montreal-Ottawa, which means probably I can't pick up anyone who asked. Sorry.
