The Ataris
The Ataris
Wow, I just saw them live last night in Pontiac and you really do like them a lot more when you see them live, even though I was addicted before last night. Ahh and they're such nice guys too. Autopilot Off was one of the openers and they were freakin awesome. So is anyone else interested in them? If not, check out classics like "San Dimas H.S. Football Rules" and "Your Boyfriend Sucks".
Oh and Alan, did you go?? I'm 99.9% sure I saw you there.

LOL yes I was there. I didn't know I was spotted or anything. I was there with Lauren (Blue-haired girl), my friend Alan, Jen, and Ami. Fun times were had by all, even though I was getting rocked around by some big black guy during Autopilot Off.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
lol, I highly enjoyed Autopilot Off. For the most part I was standing by the sound area, and this guy thought my sister was cute or something, I dono, but we got to watch the ataris from the side of the stage! It was so cool, but I don't think we were supposed to be there because he was like, if you see a security guard (other than the one that knew we were there) , act like you know what you're doing, lol. Then afterwards Kris and Mike (singer and bassist) stayed after to sign autographs and he commented on my Hot Rod Circuit shirt,
what an awesome concert experience.

four chord wonder [09 Nov 2002|10:07am]
four chord wonder
How many bands have wrote this song before?
I can name at least fifty...
I bet you could name a hundred more.
There's over a couple thousand
chord progressions around.
Whill someone tell me who decided
they'd run this one into the ground?!
(Chorus) I'm putting a stop to it once and for all!
I'm putting my fist right though the wall!
I'm telling you once and for all...
You better not write this stupid song again!
"I've got a little plan, so listen up.
We could write a four chord wonder,
and make a million bucks!"
No need to mention names
cause' you know who you are.
Take word of my advice
or I'll break your guitar!
I think it's time to set things straight...
I just wrote the song I hate.
And, I'll write it again and again and again.
How true.

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.
