OLP in Europe

Now that OLP are in Europe we need a new topic for all us European types who felt really left out by all of you who got to see them at the ACC, but are now getting very excited at the thought of seeing OLP here really soon

So who else on here is going to some of the European shows?

I'm doing Birmingham, Manchester, London and Paris and [glow=red]I CAN'T WAIT[/glow]!

There's a map on their website - www.birmingham-academy.co.uk
It's pretty close to New Street Station I think.

Aaaah...thank you. I know where Birmingham Academy is, but I'm unsure about Birmingham Academy 2. Im all confused lol. Someone said it was inside birmingham academy. which confused me even more.

i'll have a look as soon as this bloody thing finishes loading...

I think they are in the same building. But if you find out that they're not then let me know cos I don't want to be hanging around the wrong place wondering why OLP haven't turned up!!

BY CAR (VIA M6):
Leave M6 at junction 6, and follow signs for A38M & Birmingham City Centre. Come off at the third exit, avoiding going over the flyover. At the traffic island (with the fire station on the left), take first exit and approach Masshouse Circus. Take third exit for Priory Queensway and at Old Square island take third exit, bringing you onto Corporation Street. At the mini island take second exit onto Newton Street. Travel down hill and under bridge reaching Dale End. The Academy is on the right. Toysrus is on the left nad next to it is the Albert Street NCP which is open late on gig nights.
Public Transport

There is 3 NCP carparks near to the venue

did anyone hear of either opening band and what is with the 10PM curfew on Friday and Saturday nights.

It looks like they have a club in the Academy on Friday and Saturday nights - hence the stopping at 10pm thing.

That's really shit. I noticed the doors were opening quite early, actually. I never really thought about it though.

I might suggest that we stop at the club a bit then. It's meant to be really good. And if we're already there....y'know....

That is...if it's, like, a rock club. Else I'll probably get beat upon or something, lol.

I really wanted to go to Manchester too, but my friends are all gits - I think they're too scared to be that far from mommy and daddy, lol.
