Best cover song ever?

Post by Clumsythief »

Hi guys, I'm just wondering what is your favorite cover song. Mine is definitely Nirvana "The Man Who Sold The World", a David Bowie cover. The guitars in that song is just amazing. Speaking of Nirvana, I really wanna OLP perform a Nirvana song. I dunno which song tho.

Me First and the Gimme Gimme's .. any song they cover (which is all of their songs since that's all they do) kick ass ..

I also like New Found Glory's cover of My Heart Will Go On .. and an amazing song is OLP's cover of Imagine

I really loved the Deftones covering Say It Ain't So.

Nothing compares to Jerry Cantrell's cover of "Dar Side of the Moon" though
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Haven't heard of the others, but Teardrop was amazing, that got me into Massive Attack and Portishead, opened a whole new dimension for me.

Also, MGB's Enjoy the Silence.
