OLP Book?

Post by Narbus »

So, dinking around the net, found this:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... 5?v=glance

A BOOK called "Clumsy," written by OLP. Anyone heard of this before?

I saw the Clumsy one a long time ago at a local music store.

Unfortunately, it was very expensive, and I was just getting into OLP at the time, so I didn't want to spend that much. Damn stupid me.

I've been meaning to buy that book for years! I've been trying to learn guitar for a while now, to no avail. Maybe if I have some OLP songs to inspire me I'll work a little harder at it. I can only play Ode to Joy so many times...

OLP printing a book?

You people have to admit that Raine Maida isn't half as brilliant as Matthew Good.

You got a pretty sweet guitar!! You are one lucky person to have an old man that'll but you a guitar like that! I know it took me a while for me to save up for my Vintage 62' Fender Jaguar...One of those things that you can make to use to change the sound? You must mean a distortion pedal.
You got a sweet amp too!!

You lucky duckling. I want a strat for Christmas, or maybe an epiphone. That won't be happening, as I'm in need of a computer. I started playing when I was 11 or 12, and I still have the same acoustic guitar. I'm not all that good, but I can play some stuff. My new favorite is the Not Enough solo, it sounds kinda cool on an acoustic, but you can't hear the bends and stuff. I sit in my room and play that and the Naveed intro and Clumsy over and over again. I've even tried my hand at writing music. I don't think you'll be seeing me play any time soon.

I was then to be part of the mystery,
to love and be loved. Let's just hope that is enough.

yeah well he bought me the guitar because it has to do with music, and he likes me to do something that has to do with art because it seems i was born talented in that area. he also got it for half off (i think?) it was originally like 1300 but he knew the people.
