spreadin' the olp love

Post by One-Eye »

My friend, whom I introduced to OLP, had this to say:

I introduced my dad to OLP this weekend. I think he is a fan now. His exact words were "It's good to hear pure, good old, rock and roll again. Nice to know that some bands still make quality music"

Am I the only one who gets giddy when OLP are complimented?

Personally, I'm giddy as a school girl most of the time...

I introduced my dad to OLP. He doesn't seem to mind them..but he's always doing that oooOOOoooOOOOoo thing from IAH? It's kind of annoying. I feel like he's mocking me and the band.

My mom doesn't really care for them per say, but she has stated to me that she would come to an OLP concert with me, she wants to get as close as possible.

Again: my fifty year old mother would voluntarly brave the pit at an OLP concert.

I know, I know, :wtf: in all. But you have to admit - I've got a cool mom.

back in 97 when my friends and I were "too young" to go to a concert a concert by ourselves, my dad came along to see olp. He thought it was alright, and found it cool that they did a cover of "Tomorow never knows".

My dad's heard SwOT, and has decided that, while the band is credible, he really doesn't like Raine's voice.

Random: I heard Superman's Dead on the radio today after school (I stayed after to work on an art project and the teacher had the radio on)...I nearly died.

I love Raine's voice, but sometimes he hits notes that make dog's heads explode across town.

EXACTLY.

I love his voice, don't get me wrong. Cause if you do, I'll stab you.

But, god.
