New Pearl Jam song about L Staley will never be released
So what is the fucking point? I hate artists like this. What was the point of them telling the media if they didn't want publicity for it? You see, this is why I've recently begun to hate Pearl Jam.
Bart … "So, to win Gretta back I have to go to Toronto."
Homer ... "Canada? Why should we have to leave America to visit America Junior?"

When you get done sucking on Eddie Veddar, then begin making a point. I was making a specific point and some of you act like idiots. Honestly, why the hell make a tribute song about an artist and never release it? Pearl Jam are not the fucking Beatles or Nirvana for petes sake. Eddie needs to stop acting like the world has done him wrong. I love Pearl Jam, but the attitude coming from the pre-madona behind the mic is sickening.

Some people here act like idiots? Heh. Anyways, Nirvana wasn't that great, they didn't change the world. They wouldn't have been seen as legendary if Cobain didn't off himself. Pearl Jam has to release the song on Layne Staley, because some one has to honor that guy like he deserves.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

If Alice In Chains bothered to market themselves like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, AIC would be the essential grunge band, not Nirvana. AIC didn't spend their time pushing videos on MTV. Yeah, they made them, but they made the video the way they wanted to. Not the way that would get them instant mainstream success. AIC did more work and was much more complex than Nirvana ever was in my mind. Look into it, you might find out I'm right.

i believe Pearl Jam did the same, ever heard of a song called Do The Evolution....... or what about Jeremy? in fact jeremy was banned from tv stations
Pearl Jam also stopped making music videos because they didnt want the huge mainstrem success, this may also be why there sound musically changed after the releases of Ten and V.S, you might want to look into that.
And i did not know that complexity is what made a band good or bad but thank you for clearing that up for me

You're a real fucking problem G_S. Why do you have to undermine every single thing I say on here? You can't just fucking lay off for a day. And don't try and teach me about Pearl Jam, because I do listen to them too, and I personally like AIC a whole lot more than Pearl Jam, so back off.

Ok. Finally I'm done. Giving Eddie Vedder a bj is hard work. Anyways, maybe they don't think the song is that good? Maybe they would feel guilty making money/publicity off of Layne's death? I don't know. Jack Black (a friend of eddie's) is the one who actually mentioned it first in an interview, so I don't think anyone would have known had he not opened his mouth.
