Last Song You Ever Hear

Post by Xavier870 »

What would you want the last song you ever get to listen to be? Mine would be either It's My Life - Bon Jovi, Life Is A Highway - Tom Cochrane, or Don't Fear The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

Do we have to hear the whole song before we die?

If so: "This is the song that doesn't end, yes it goes on and on my friend..."

Sure, I'd get sick of it, but I'd never die!

Good Fucking Bye by Matt Skiba. The ending would be great. The second I die it would say "good fucking bye" and that would just be superb irony.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Man in the Box-Alice in Chains.

The irony is just too good.

Actually, it would be Superman's Dead. Hmmm........also sorta ironic, but it's my favorite song, so........

No, actually.........The Wonderful Future. Definatly, without a doubt.

"If I should die in a car wreck, may I have Van Morrison on my tape deck..."
-Poi Dog Pondering

Actually, I'd probably wanna hear "Irish Eyes"; they played it at my grandma's funeral and it pretty much reminds me of all the people I love...

Damn I'm sentimental today.

Definitely, absolutely, I'd go out listening to "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats  ... nah, that wouldn't work, I'd probably want to kill myself within the first few seconds of hearing that song :P

seriously though, I'd love to hear either "Last Goodbye" by Jeff Buckley or "Freebird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd... or maybe "Hope" by OLP because just when you think the song is over, the drums fire up and
BANG! the song goes right back into the outro...

Green Day - "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)"

Is there a better song to go out with? If so, it's Jeff Buckley's "Last Goodbye" or Lynyrd Skynrd's "Tuesday's Gone". That song always reminds me of the movie Dazed And Confused when the party is ending; and when you die, the party is over.
