I saw them at the Lowlands Festival. I'd never heard of them before, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were.

"United By Fate" is the name. Good band (especially "Used For Glue", "Travel By Telephone" and "Good Things").

I might have to listen to them. Seeing as how they're named after a video game I liked a lot.

Very good. They wanted their name to be Rival Schools United By Fate but weren't allowed for some reason. Definitely check out Used For Glue.

LMAO, they weren't allowed to have their name Rival Schools United By Fate because that would be copyright infringement.

I read about them in an article in a music magazine...

I was just about to create a topic about this. I got the cd from the library and I loved it... Dammit, I just reminded myself that my library books are 2 weeks overdue. Oh well, another few days can't hurt at this point...

They're alt rock, but the singer has a unique voice and the songs are kinda spontaneous... If you IM me I could send you my reccomendations. Or you could just do it the easy way and go on Kazaa.
