Oh come on, Saves The Day isn't that bad. You have them in a group with Sum 41 and Andrew WK. Even if you don't like STD, don't you think that's just a little harsh?
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
that show is gonna rock...i wish i was still in england to go...but yeah, STD and LTJ are sweet.
u know the foos are playing london on the 26 at the astoria?...geez, what i wouldnt give to go...

ill make u make a baby,
let's make electric power,
in fear u should not cower,
cuz girl i will protect u,
i promise not to sex u,

"all by myself
cause I don’t want to drag you down, hold you down
cause you’re a friend
i blame myself
i guess you think it’s funny now, funny now
it's such a shame..."

The Mars Volta is a really good band that formed when At The Drive In broke up (Sparta was the other band that formed too) and two of the members are in that band.

Wow. That was pretty amazing. Here's a run down of who I saw:
1. Vex Red - great set - especially when they launched into Christina Aguilera's "Genie In A Bottle" during "Can't Smile".
2. Andrew W.K. - "We know we look stoopid, but we're not doing it 'cos it's corny but to have fun". We had lots of fun too, laughing and throwing plastic bottles.
3. D4 - powerful New Zealand rock.
4. A - pretty good set. The drummer had nicked a gong from Nickelback and the lead singer stole Chad Kroeger's cowboy hat in Germany. What more can you ask for.
5. The Hives - supreme entertainers. It did start to grate when we were told that The Hives are the best band in the world for the seventh time.
6. Rival Schools - somewhat disappointing. A lot of the songs sounded the same.
7. Cooper Temple Clause - they literally blew the crowd away with the wall-of-sound-style "Did You Miss Me?" and "Panzer Attack". If you haven't checked this band out yet you must.
8. Ash - playing against doctor's orders they provided the huge crowd with an immaculate greatest hits performance. Brilliant.
9. Muse - just as Muse came on stage it started to piss down with rain. But by the time "New Born" was over no-one noticed how wet we were. Muse are outstanding live and the addition of two new songs with a slightly more upbeat feel added to the experience. Then there were the giant confetti-filled balloons.
10. Foo Fighters - a spectacular, no-holds-barred finale saw the full Foos catalogue getting an airing. All the hits were played ("Monkey Wrench", "Breakout", "My Hero", "This Is A Call", "Learn To Fly" etc.) accompanied by several new tracks from 1x1. They definitely had a much heavier feel, especially the opener and "Low". The two highlights were "Stacked Actors" in which Dave left the stage in one of the instrumentals and climbed up barriers and licked one of the cameras (it was much funnier than it sounds). The encore saw Dave return alone and play one of the most moving Foos songs I've heard - a definite future hit, if only I knew the name of it.
