Anyone else here just love his album Grace?
I'm just discovering it, but it's fantastic! The song Grace is an instant classic, as far as I'm concerned. I've had "wait in the fire, wait in the fire" playing in my head all day!

The Grace album is a masterpiece... Buckley was the best... how about "Mojo Pin," "Eternal Life," "Last Goodbye," or better yet..... "So Real"!!!

*ohhhhh that was soooooooooo reeee-eeaaallllll*

that's one of my favorite songs of all time.

I'd also recommend getting the Jeff Buckley Live in Chicago DVD that was released a couple years ago... great quality, small venue, and such an amazing performance!

all Jeff Buckley is awesome and as you can tell from my avatar i'm a fan  When I was in France I got this awesome live album I've never seen before, it's called Live from the Bataclan, some french club. It has a really sweet version of Dream Brother and Je n'en connais pas la fin/ hymne a l'amour plus 'the way young lovers do' and hallelujah, i was wayyy excited when i found that baby.

whoa! 12?!?! what are they all?? i can only think of Grace, Live@Sine, Live@L'Olympia, Mystery Whiteboy, Sketches..., and now Live from the Bataclan.. where'd you get the others??

ooo.. as a sidenote, when i was in Paris i made it my goal to find L'Olympia and finally did the last day i was there. it was so sweet!! I took about a million pics of it and stuff, i felt like I was making an homage to some kinda Jeff Buckley mecca... ooo and plus coldplay is playing there soon... that would be soooo sweet to see a concert there...

You should check out his posthumous release "Sketches For - My Sweetheart The Drunk". It's a collection of unfinished songs he was working on at the time of his death. There are some finished songs, some demos, and they're seperated onto two discs. Check it out if you get the chance, I highly reccomend it! As for "Grace", it is a classic, no doubt about that. Buckley's light was dimmed way too soon...

Jeff Buckley is incredible. If he had lived, he would have become a legend. It's so sad.

I finally downloaded some Jeff Buckley stuff. It's great. Yesterday I got Eternal Life because I was interested to see how the original version sounded compared to the OLP one, of course. I liked it, so I downloaded Grace and Last Goodbye just because I thought they sounded good. I love them! I gotta start picking up his albums.

get "everybody here wants you"

it's genius.

if you're looking for a fucking awesome CD that will make you cry when you hear it, get "live a l'olympia" by him. it's so wicked. the live version of eternal life is soooooo hardcore rockin'.

if you can find the eternal life single, there is a studio recorded version of that tune. it's so awesome.

jeff's music never ceases to amaze me. no matter how many re-released things i hear, i'm just floored by it. i got "songs to no one" yesterday. so far a little rough, but still excellent, an extremely interesting facit of insight into jeff's progression as a musician. if you're a fan you'll like it
