Post by Endymion »

Which Our Lady Peace music video do you hate the most or love the least (or anything in between)? Explain.

Mmm... The only OLP vid that I really don't like much is probably...God. This's hard.

Somewhere Out There, I guess. It's okay, but not one of my favourites, to be totally honest.

My favourite video is Theif.
It's got a beautiful concept. The pouring rain and the band members getting drenched on a bench express the emotion quite nicely.

I don't recally one that I dislike, but I don't enjoy the Somewhere Out There video as much as the others.

My least favorite is In Repair, I just find it boring :freak:

My favorite is Thief and Life .. Thief because it's a simple video, just the guys and rain, but you can feel so much emotion in that video. Life .. I can't explain it .. something about that song and that video that gets me.

My second favorite is OMA cuz it's such a fun video with Raine flying off of things :D

Is Anybody Home and Clumsy are my favorites because they are so artistic.

Somewhere out there is dull and goofy with people flying all over the place.
I didn't care much for Life.
And I really don't like the One Man Army video. It is silly.

In Repair is my favorite. You find new things in that video all the time, and it keeps you watching. My least favorite is SOT, it's just boring.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Out of all the vids I've seen on TV (besides SwOT), I've seen Life the most. I like it, but it's not a favourite.

hmm...I'd say my least favorite is probably SOT, although I find In Repair a little boring. SOT just bugs me when those people start flying all over the place. It's not as interesting as the others. My favs are prolly 4am, Thief, and IAH. 4am and Thief are both so beautiful to me. How they are kinda slow motion, and it just shows how something as simple as rain or riding in a car can represent so much. IAH has good concertish footage and an interesting storyline. I just think that one's a solid video. Honorable mention goes to OMA. Come on..when Raine says, "I remember marching.." he does this little toy soldier move thing. Cracks me up every time, not to mention the fact that he hits a bus AND a wall.

You're entire post cracked me up .. I don't know why  Plus in OMA Raine had really cool pants and a funky hairdo  I love the part in OMA when he hits the wall and falls to the ground .. if you look closely you can see a little grin on his face .. it's so cute :D

The part with the news stand almost reminds me of Freak on a Leash. Err...don't ask me why.

 the hair is funny. that little chunky highlight thing. and how he holds on the that fire hydrant. you know that like...at least a dozen dogs had to have peed on that thing before raine made use of it. I think I'm gonna go watch that vid now...I need some humor tonight.

OMA is pretty good but I gotta say either Clumsy or IAH, is my fave. Honourable mention can go to Superman's Dead (the canadian version with Ryan Dennis)
I wasn't a big fan of Hope though....

Thief is awesome as well, just for the complexity built around something so simple... gotta love it
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
